'You're either on Team Queensland or not': Palaszczuk warns MPs to fight for infrastructure funding

Queensland's premier has warned the state's coalition senators it's just as important to be on Team Queensland as Team Australia.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has called for Liberal National Party senators to fight for their state's right to federal infrastructure funding without strings attached.

"You're either with us or you're against us, and you'll be judged squarely at the ballot box if you're not on Team Queensland," she said.

Ms Palaszczuk denied her new catchphrase was a loaded term given its remarkable similarity to one of Prime Minister Tony Abbott's own favourite slogans: Team Australia.
