Woman locked in room during armed robbery in Brisbane

A woman was locked in a room after being threatened at knife point at a Brisbane bowls club last night.

A man entered Moorooka Bowls Club on Koala Road around 11pm and threatened a female employee with a knife before demanding money.

After taking the cash he locked the woman into a room and fled.

The woman was freed by police a short time later and was physically unharmed.

The suspect remains on the run and is described as Caucasian, 25-30 years of age, of slim build and wearing a black hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants and had his face obscured by cloth.
