Appeal after woman killed in Qld crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal traffic incident on Queensland's Sunshine Coast in which a 39-year-old woman died.

The woman was struck as she exited her vehicle on School Road at Coolum Beach at about 5pm on Thursday and declared dead at the scene.

The 39-year-old man driving the truck was uninjured and the Forensic Crash Unit is now investigating.

Police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or have dashcam vision of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
