Woman charged over Gold Coast death

A second person has been charged over the death of a man whose body was found at a Gold Coast apartment last month.

Detectives probing the suspicious death of Gregory John Hudson charged a 35-year-old Gold Coast woman with manslaughter, entering with intent and armed robbery on Saturday.

She is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on Monday.

Her arrest comes a day after police charged a 24-year-old man with manslaughter and armed robbery in relation to Mr Hudson's death at a Varsity Lakes unit on October 23.

Mr Hudson, 57, had arrived on the Gold Coast by bus from Sydney four days prior.

Media have speculated that he may have died in a sex game gone wrong as a woman believed to be a sex worker was reportedly assisting police with their investigation.
