Weapons, drugs found in car on Gold Coast

A driver struggled with police after they used tyre spikes to stop the stolen car he was driving on the Gold Coast.
After arresting the man, police found weapons and a stash of drugs in the car at Coomera on Tuesday afternoon.
A 33-year-old man will face the Southport Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with assaulting police, possessing dangerous drugs, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and carry a weapon in a public place.
