Weapons, ammo found at Qld home: police

A man is set to face court after a police raid on a Gold Coast home allegedly turned up several weapons, including a Taser disguised as a torch.

A tip-off led officers to a Pacific Pines address where they allegedly found the Taser along with a a set of knuckle dusters, a pistol, an extendable baton, ammunition and amphetamines on Wednesday morning.

A 28-year-old man has been given a notice to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on January 27 to face weapons and drug charges.
