Two people found dead at home in Queensland's Rockhampton region

Two people have been found dead during a police welfare check at a home in central Queensland.
Police were called to a property in Wandal, Rockhampton, after 8pm last night.
When they entered the Lion Creek Road home, police found the bodies of a 76-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man.

A crime scene has been set up at the property and investigations into the deaths are continuing.
"Police believe there is no ongoing threat to the public," Queensland Police said in a statement.
"No further information is available at this time."
Police said the causes of the deaths are undetermined at this stage.
Wandal is a suburb in Queensland's Rockhampton region with a population of under 4000 people.
