Two people have died in separate crashes on Queensland roads.

A 27-year-old man died after his ute collided with a four-wheel drive in Rockhampton at about 9.40pm on Friday.

A 24-year-old man who was a passenger was taken to Rockhampton Base Hospital in a serious condition.

The driver and three passengers in the 4WD were treated for minor injuries.

On Saturday a 56-year-old woman was killed when her car was hit by another vehicle as she pulled out of a business in Tingalpa.

The woman's passenger and the driver of the other vehicle were both taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital with minor injuries.
