Two men charged with murder following stabbing in regional Queensland

Police have charged two men with murder in New South Wales, following the investigation into the stabbing death of a man at Mundubbera, Queensland.

The men have been charged with murder following separate police arrests.

The 70-year-old Dubbo man was arrested overnight, while the 35-year-old Queensland man was arrested earlier this week in Orange.

They are suspected of stabbing a 43-year-old man at his home on Bruce Street, Mundubbera, on August 24.

The victim later died at Mundubbera Hospital.

Both men are due to appear in court on Monday.

Investigations into the homicide are ongoing.
