Two killed in central Queensland collision

Two motorists have been killed and another has been hospitalised in a head-on collision in central Queensland.

Both drivers, a man, 46, and a woman, 37, died in the Rockhampton crash on Saturday, while a passenger was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Lakes Creek Road has been closed, the police forensic crash unit are investigating and officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
