Two die in crash north of Brisbane

Two elderly people have died in a crash north of Brisbane.

Police say a 68-year-old woman and a 74-year-old man were killed when two cars collided on Eatons Crossing Road at Cashmere on Tuesday morning.

The pair are both from nearby Samsonvale and were travelling in the same car.

The driver of the second car, a woman aged 36, is being treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
