Two charged after Qld drug seizure

A Victorian man and a Cairns woman have been charged with various offences after drugs worth up to $450,000 were discovered in a car during a routine traffic intercept in Queensland's central west.

Police say they searched a vehicle in Tambo on Sunday afternoon and discovered 18.5 kilograms of cannabis with an estimated street value of between $180,000 and $450,000, a sum of money, phones and tablet devices.

They'll appear in Charleville Magistrates Court on Monday and Tuesday.
