Caboolture boys found after short search

Two young boys have been found safe after failing to return from a bike ride north of Brisbane.

Police appealed for public assistance to find the pair, aged nine and 10, on Sunday amid concerns for their safety.

The boys were reported missing on Saturday night after they were last seen riding their bikes on King Street, Caboolture, that afternoon.

They were found near and educational facility on Smiths Road, Caboolture, on Sunday afternoon following a short search.
