Two boaties missing off far north Qld

Two men onboard a dinghy are missing in waters off the Torres Strait Islands.
A large search effort on Thursday involving Queensland Water Police, aircrafts and helicopters failed to find the pair who were travelling from Papua New Guinea when their 4.2 metre boat broke down.
Police were alerted on Wednesday morning that the men had run into trouble somewhere between Saibai Island and the tip of Cape York in Queensland's far north.
