Two arrested after Gold Coast drug raid

Police believe two people arrested at a Gold Coast home were supplying drugs across the city's northern suburbs.

Following a tip-off by the public, police searched a house in Ormeau on Wednesday and allegedly found one kilogram of cannabis, three grams of ice and drug paraphernalia.

A man and a woman, both 47, have been charged with various drug offences and will face Southport Magistrates Court on August 2, with police alleging they also uncovered "evidence of ongoing drug supplies to people around the northern end of the Gold Coast" during the search.
