Trio charged over drugs, weapons raid

Three people have been charged after a raid on a central Queensland home that netted more than $150,000 in guns, cash and drugs.

Police raided a Sarina property, south of Mackay, last week, seizing 400 grams of ice, cocaine and cannabis, three guns and $100,000 cash.

A 37-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman have been charged with a string of offences including drug trafficking and weapons charges.

Both will appear in the Mackay Magistrates Court on Monday.

A third man has also been charged with drugs and weapons offences and will appear in the Sarina Magistrates Court in November.
