Trial for Qld officer over alleged tip-off

A Gold Coast police constable accused of tipping off a drug dealer about the name of an informant will face trial in November.
James Alexander Walker will stand trial in the Southport District Court from November 27 on one charge compromising the protection of a witness.
Walker was charged in October 2015 by the Crime and Corruption Commission after allegedly disclosing the name of an informant to a drug dealer on two occasions.
