Trad to launch trade mission to Asia

Queensland's deputy premier will embark on a trade mission to Asia to promote the state as an attractive investment destination.

Jackie Trad will spend ten days from next week visiting Indonesia, Singapore and India, where she will showcase Queensland's expertise in vocational education and training, urban planning and design, transport systems and knowledge industries.

"The Palaszczuk government is about generating jobs and economic growth for Queensland and there's no better way to do this than to showcase our trade and investment credentials in key overseas markets," Ms Trad said on Tuesday.
