Tomahawk attack in Brisbane's south

A man believed to have been struck in the head with a tomahawk in Brisbane's inner-south is being treated by paramedics.

Emergency services were called to a house in West End about 3.20pm on Monday where a man in his 30s was found with wounds to his head, while a woman was not seriously injured.

Police believe a third person may have been involved in the attack.
