Toddler struck by car in Qld driveway

A toddler has died after he was hit by a car in a driveway at a home in Queensland's Whitsundays.

The two-year-old was struck by the vehicle on the property at Cannonvale, near Airlie Beach, about 3pm on Tuesday.

He was taken to Proserpine Hospital but later died.

Police will prepare a report for a coroner.
