Three injured in Brisbane multi-car pileup

A five-car pileup south of Brisbane has left one woman seriously hurt, and put two other people in hospital.

Police said the accident began when a truck crashed into a stopped car on the Pacific Motorway at Daisy Hill on Monday evening, but the collision ultimately caused damage to five vehicles.

The female driver of one car sustained serious injuries, while a man and a woman from other cars were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
