Three girls arrested after Qld brawl

Police officers have been attacked as they tried to break up a Queensland street fight involving around 50 teenagers.

One officer was punched in the face, while others were spat at and verbally abused as they tried to clear the crowd in Woodridge, south of Brisbane, on Friday afternoon.

Three girls, aged 12, 14 and 15, have been charged with seriously assaulting police, and are to be dealt with under the Youth Justices Act.
