Thieves steal car, boy's wheelchair in Qld

Police are appealing for help to track down a six-year-old boy's wheelchair after the car it was kept in was stolen in Brisbane's north.

The car was found on May 5 but the wheelchair was not inside, with police speculating it might have been dumped between Bracken Ridge and Caboolture.

The boy has a medical condition and needs the wheelchair, which would take six months and cost $3000 to replace, to help stave off muscle fatigue and stop muscle loss.
