The Qld cow who thinks she's human
Beryl enjoys kicking back in the family lounge room after a long day just like anyone else.
But the difference with this lady is, she's a cow.
Beryl the Brahman is becoming an online sensation after her Queensland owners decided to share her human-like antics with the world.
Photos posted to her own Facebook page - Beryl the Brahman - show the nine-month-old lazing around with the family and rolling onto her back for a belly rub.
Owner Sally Webster said Beryl believed she was a member of the family.
"I don't think she knows she's a cow," she told AAP.
"She does everything with the dogs or everything with us.
"It's so funny because she's just got this big personality."
Mrs Webster said she recently returned home to her and her husband's cattle station in northwest Queensland to find Beryl stretched out on the carpet in the lounge room.
"It was like she was saying 'here I am, I'm ready to watch another DVD'," she said.
But Mrs Webster said that wasn't the first time Beryl had pulled a sneaky.
"Because cattle are so smart, she knows where the milk lives in the house," she said.
"If we accidentally leave a door open she is straight in there trying to find that powdered milk bag."
Not only does the brahman prefer to spend time with the dogs rather than her fellow bovines, Beryl even goes on holidays with the family, transported in the horse trailer.
"She really is just part of the family, it's crazy but really nice," Mrs Webster said.
