Stolen Qld ute taken on long joyride

A hoon has taken a stolen ute on a joyride in southern Queensland.
The car was seen driving dangerously in the tiny border town of Ballandean on Wednesday morning, police say.
The driver then headed north to Stanthorpe in the Darling Downs region, failing to stop for police.

The ute was last seen at Gore, some 140km from where it was first spotted.
