Lockdown lifted on Qld's Sunshine Coast

An emergency situation has been cancelled on Queensland's Sunshine Coast after police searched a home where a man was believed to be holed up with a firearm.

Police had shut down a number of streets in Caloundra West at 4.50pm on Friday.

The lockdown was lifted half an hour later after police searched the home but didn't find the man, who they are still looking for.
