Brisbane siege ends, man's body found

A siege at a Brisbane house has ended after police found the body of a man inside.

Heavily armed officers surrounded the home at Chandler, in the city's outer southeast, after the man made threats towards two people and armed himself with a gun.

An exclusion zone was established at 2pm after the pair were able to flee and call triple-zero.

Police revoked the emergency situation at 5.25pm after officers found the man dead inside.

It's understood he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
