Second king hit accused to face Qld court

A second man is expected to face court over an alleged king-hit attack on a teenager in Brisbane's nightclub district.

The 21-year-old was charged on Thursday night, just hours after Corey Glen Schumann, 21, faced Brisbane Magistrates Court over the incident.

Schumann is charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm, while the second man will front court on Friday charged with occasioning bodily harm whilst in company.

The teenage victim was treated for minor injuries to his mouth.

The alleged assault in the early hours of Thursday came just a day after mourners farewelled one-punch victim Cole Miller, who died after suffering massive brain trauma in an alleged random attack on January 3, also in Fortitude Valley.
