Missing Brisbane schoolboy found 'safe and well'

A schoolboy who disappeared in Brisbane yesterday afternoon has been found.
The 12-year-old student, who went missing from Thorneside Railway Station in east Brisbane yesterday, was located safe and well in Thorneside this morning.
The boy disappeared yesterday around 5pm after leaving an education facility on Anson Street and failed to arrive at a home in Manly West.
Police were concerned for his welfare after his family said it was out of character for the boy to go missing and to stay out of contact with family and friends.
The young boy was carrying a maroon school bag and violin case when he went missing.
Police thanked the public for their assistance.
