Rain sends Qld roo hopping mad

The heavy rain in parts of Queensland's outback is being celebrated by more than just farmers.

Video has emerged of a kangaroo scampering through Winton's Scott Creek.

A number of roads in and out of Winton were closed overnight as rain bucketed down.

Perhaps it is a sign of how long the area has been drought-stricken and the kangaroo is simply too young to know how to handle the water.
