Queensland police hunt armed robber

Police are hunting a man following a gunpoint supermarket robbery north of Brisbane.

The offender entered the shop on Morayfield Road at Caboolture South, picked up a few items and made his way to the express checkout about 8pm on Friday, police say.

A 16-year-old female worker agreed to hand over a sum of money after the bandit threatened her with a handgun before fleeing.

Police are looking for a Caucasian of medium build with brown hair, who was wearing a white jumper with black spots, a black shirt with writing on the front, dark pants and orange sunglasses.
