Queensland police help crack major international child exploitation operation
Queensland police have helped crack a major international child exploitation operation alleged to have preyed on vulnerable victims for a decade.
They worked with Mexican authorities, who raided a property in Mexico last week and arrested the accused ringleader.
Jose Raul has allegedly been using social media sites to lure in young boys and girls for the past 10 years, recording them performing sexual acts and selling that material online.

Queensland police assisted Mexican authorities in halting an international child exploitation ring preying on victims for a decade. 9News
Victim identification officers from Taskforce Argos - the child protection arm of the Queensland Police Service - uncovered the material circulating within Australia last year and notified Mexican authorities, who have been investigating since.
They tracked Raul down in the country's Yucatan region, seizing a number of electronic devices from a home there.
Raul has now been charged with aggravated human trafficking.

Local media reported he worked as a children's football coach in Mexico and police described his alleged abuse as "prolific".
So far no Australian victims have been identified.
