Queensland top cop 'hopes to survive' report into police culture
Queensland's Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll says she hopes to survive a report into racism, sexism and misogyny within the service.
Carroll's suitability to lead the force has been put in the spotlight by media reports about the findings of an inquiry into police culture.
It has reportedly raised questions about her handling of sexism, racism and sexual harassment allegations within the Queensland Police Service.

But Carroll has insisted she has no plans to step down.
"I'm a CEO in charge of 17,500 people … I'm hoping to survive (the findings)," she said.
"I don't have plans to step down."
Carroll said she was the right person to lead and reform the force.
She also described as "truly abhorrent" leaked recordings revealing officers using racist slurs in Brisbane's watch house.
Whistleblower Steven Marshall gave the recordings to the independent commission of inquiry into the Queensland police response to domestic violence.
They were published by The Guardian yesterday.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the recordings were horrific.
The episode has been referred to the Crime and Corruption Commission.
Police Minister Mark Ryan said he fully backs Carroll remaining as commissioner.
The state government yesterday received the commission of inquiry into the police force culture and response to domestic and family violence.
