Queensland man uses stick in servo hold up

A Queensland man who tried to hold up a service station with a stick has been charged by police.

The 39-year-old man threatened an employee with the "weapon" at the Browns Plains business, south of Brisbane, on Tuesday night but left empty handed.

Police say CCTV footage helped them find the culprit, who has now been charged with attempted robbery.
