Queensland death deemed not suspicious

A man whose body was found outside a north Queensland unit died from a pre-existing medical condition, police say.

Officers questioned the 55-year-old's son-in-law after the death, which occurred in Mackay on Tuesday following reports of a disturbance.

They also initially set-up a crime scene but are no longer treating the death as suspicious after autopsy results showed it was due to a medical condition.
