Qld worker confronted by bleeding man

A man with a puncture wound to his stomach has staggered up to a Gold Coast traffic controller seeking help but won't tell police how he was injured.

The 39-year-old has told officers he doesn't want to make a complaint after seeking help from the road worker at Coomera on Wednesday morning.

He's been taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
