Qld woman in hospital after armed attack

A Queensland woman has suffered a heart attack after an armed man attacked her car while she had young children in the back seat.

The 21-year-old woman, two children, and a man were in the car when another driver approached them armed with a knife, and damaged their vehicle at Rainbow Beach, south of Hervey Bay, on Tuesday.

The woman was taken to hospital in a serious condition. A 22-year-old man, who knew the man in the woman's car, has been charged with threatening violence and wilful damage.
