Qld theme parks moving on from tragedy

A month and a half after the deaths of four people at Dreamworld, theme parks across the Gold Coast are preparing for the Christmas holidays.

In a big week for Gold Coast theme parks, the seventh annual White Christmas Charity Event will be held at Movie World just two days before the reopening on Dreamworld on Saturday.

The fatal accident at Dreamworld in October which claimed the lives of four people caused a downturn in visitor numbers to all of the region's parks but owners are hopeful of business returning to normal during these school holidays.
