Qld teens charged over brazen car theft

Six teenagers have been charged in relation to a brazen morning robbery in Queensland's far north.

A woman was shoved aside by four people on her Trinity Beach doorstep just before 8am (AEST) on Friday, police say.

Once inside, the gang stole her car keys and cash, and made off in her car.

The vehicle was found by police at on later that day.

They've since charged two girls, aged 14 and 16, as well as two 15-year-old boys, with a range of offences.

They will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.

An 18-year-old girl, and two males aged 17 and 21 have also been charged with multiple offences, including stealing.

The older trio will front court in late March.
