A Queensland teenager abducted by her armed ex-partner yesterday morning still hasn't been found.

Relatives of Billy-Anne Huxham, 18, told police she'd been forced into a car at gunpoint outside a Caboolture home.

It's believed her ex-partner Carl Garry Chapman broke into the house and threatened her with the gun, before taking her with him.

The 32-year-old is known to police.

They believe she was taken in a Silver 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander with the Queensland registration number 789VNI.

The car was spotted on the Bruce Highway at Kallangur several hours later.

Police have serious concerns for Ms Huxham's welfare, Detective Acting Inspector Steve Windsor said, adding that the public should contact Crime Stoppers if they spot the pair given that "possibly firearms are involved".

An investigation centre has also been set up at the local police station.
