Alleged knifeman not found at Qld TAFE

A Gold Coast TAFE has been taken out of lockdown after police were unable to locate a man allegedly seen walking the grounds with a knife.
Police rushed to Ashmore TAFE - the location of the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Corporation offices - just after midday on Thursday after receiving a report of a man roaming the grounds with a knife.
After an extensive search, no such man was located and the lockdown was lifted just after 1pm AEST.
