Qld shooter convicted of attempted murder

A man has been found guilty of attempted murder after shooting at his former girlfriend's new partner outside a Gold Coast home in 2011.

Robert Kingsley Corowa, 34, had pleaded not guilty to shooting Marko Marjanovic at the beginning of his Supreme Court trial in Brisbane.

But the jury, which retired just before midday on Thursday to consider his case, returned just after 4pm on Friday finding him guilty of attempted murder.
