Qld public servants in line for pay rise
AAP
Queensland's public servants are set to receive a 2.5 per cent pay rise for the next three years.
The government has struck an in-principle agreement with key unions to bump up the wages of the state's 48,000 public sector staff, Treasurer Curtis Pitt said on Monday night.
The deal would also see workers receive a one-off $1300 payment to compensate for the three years of arbitration stalled under the former government, Mr Pitt said.
