Qld probe possible hit-and-run

A man was left lying in the road with life-threatening injuries after an apparent hit-and-run incident on the Sunshine Coast.

Police say the man was taken to hospital after being found with a serious head injury on a road in Caloundra in the early hours of Friday.

Witnesses reported seeing a small silver sedan on the road at the time of the incident and police are appealing for the driver of the car to come forward.
