Qld premier set for second US mission

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk will lead another trade mission to the United States to attract investment to the state.

Ms Palaszczuk last year led a delegation of 88 business and education leaders to research institutions in Washington, Philadelphia, Boston and Los Angeles.

"Biofuels and other emerging technologies were at the forefront of the trade mission I led to the US last year and I'm happy to tell you today that I intend to strengthen the bonds we forged by leading another mission to the US in June," the premier told the American Chamber of Commerce of Queensland lunch in Brisbane on Thursday.
