Qld policeman charged for computer hacking

A Queensland policeman has been stood down from official duty and charged with computer hacking.
The 33-year-old senior constable from the southern region is alleged to have inappropriately accessed information on the Queensland Police Service computer system, police said in a statement on Thursday.
He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.
