Qld police on hunt for Ford driver

One man is injured and another wanted by police following a road rage incident in the car park of a Gold Coast fast food outlet.

The pair were involved in the altercation on Saturday in the northern suburb of Coomera.

The 58-year-old victim has told police he left the scene in his utility but was followed by the other man behind the wheel of a maroon or red Ford Fairmont.

The Ford driver got out of his car at a set of lights, where a fight broke out between them and the ute driver suffered a puncture wound to the leg.

Police want to speak to the driver of the Ford, which is believed to have the false registration plates 832 VWT, mag wheels, a large spoiler and a sun-damaged roof.
