Qld police negotiate with man in stand-off

Police are negotiating with a man who has barricaded himself in a house in Queensland's South Burnett region.

Officers were called to the Kingaroy address about 10pm on Thursday after the man made threats.

An emergency was declared early on Friday and surrounding streets were evacuated.

The man is believed to be alone.
