Qld police investigating top fraud cop

The long-standing head of Queensland police's Fraud and Corporate Crime Squad is himself being investigated.

According to the Queensland Police Service, Detective Superintendent Brian Hay is facing an internal investigation.

"There is an internal investigation which is not finalised, however no evidence of impropriety has been identified on any member of the Queensland Police Service (QPS) for misuse of a corporate credit card," police told AAP in a statement.
