Qld pedestrian hit by two cars, killed

A pedestrian has died after he was struck by two vehicles when crossing a road north of Brisbane.

The 22-year-old was crossing Buchanan Road in Morayfield about 5.40pm Friday when hit by a vehicle before another travelling in the same direction also struck him.

He suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

While nobody else was physically injured, a number of people have been taken to hospital to be treated for shock.
